Displaying strength and delicacy in equal measure, the 2017 William Robert Estate Cuvee is a true representation of the capabilities of the unique site upon which it is grown. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot immediately puts forth expressive notes of sarsaparilla, forest floor and damp earth upon pouring. On the palate, brighter hints of cola berry and Rainier cherries emerge. A vibrant acidity courses through this wine, carrying notes of cassis through to a lingering finish of fine grained, intricately woven tannins. This vintage is one to lay down for a long time if you can resist the temptation!
